Elementary/Intermediate tardiness to school occurs when a student is not in the classroom and seated by 8:00 a.m. Students arriving to school from 7:58-8:00 a.m. will be counted as tardy as there is not adequate time for them to be in their classrooms, seated at 8:00 a.m. All students arriving at school late must report to the office for a tardy slip before going to class. See the attendance section for tardy consequences.
Middle/High tardiness to school occurs when a student is not in the classroom and seated by 7:55 a.m. Students arriving to school from 7:53-7:55 a.m. will be counted as tardy as there is not adequate time for them to be in their classrooms, seated at 7:55 a.m. All students arriving at school late must report to the office for a tardy slip before going to class. See the attendance section for tardy consequences.
Students normally are to arrive no earlier than 7:30 a.m. or to remain later than 15 minutes past dismissal, unless enrolled in before and/or after school extended care. Classrooms are not open until 7:50 a.m. No students are allowed in the classroom or at lockers until they are picked up or dismissed from the drop-off area by the classroom teacher.
