Football

Welcome to WARRIOR FOOTBALL, Home of the "Pain Factory."
When we talk about our program, we like to believe everything is summed up in two key things:  Our Building Blocks and Our Plan To Win.  These two things guide everything we do, every decision we make, and how we are building a championship program that honors the Lord.

BUILDING BLOCKS OF THE PROGRAM

1.    Our Coaching Philosophy … “Tough Love”

We care about these students as players and persons.  We carry high goals for our players as if they were our own sons, so they can expect to be challenged, corrected, taught, disciplined, and encouraged to achieve great things on and off the field.  We believe that motivating out of love is far more powerful than motivating out of fear.  Tough love allows a coach to push players to levels of potential they never thought possible, keep them accountable when they struggle, and authentically celebrate when they succeed.

2.    Our Program Philosophy … “True Success”

We want players and coaches who Care, Think and Try.  Individuals who will believe that success is about more than image, status and victory. True Success is the peace of knowing we gave maximum effort with everything we are capable of.  We believe that focusing on the ‘who,’ will create dynamic players, which leads to a dominant program.  Teams who focus on the ‘what or the how,’ always become stagnant and fail.  We create this culture by:  1.  Striving to outwork/outsmart opponents year round; 2. Striving to be unified by spending a lot of time together living in the weightroom year round, playing other sports, doing missions, and taking part in special events; and 3. Striving to have a whole lot of fun in the process!  TRUE SUCCESS ALWAYS PRODUCES GREATNESS, which we define in three ways: Competitive (a true love for the hard battle), Confident (an authentic belief that preparation is complete), Champions (a name that gets remembered).

3.    Our Football Philosophy … “Welcome To The Pain Factory”

We are a punishing football team that dominates every snap and every detail through being Very Physical, Very Aggressive and All Heart.  We want teams to know that when they come to play the Warriors, they are stepping into four quarters of pain, attacking pursuit, relentless effort, and detailed execution.  Teams will say…’if you make a mistake vs. the Warriors, you will pay for it.’  To play our style of football, everyone must understand the Factory Creed: 1.  Whatever It Takes; 2. No Excuses, No Explanations; 3. Do What We Do.

4.    Our Ministry Philosophy … “The Double Win”

We coach because we have a passion to see these boys become Godly Men.  We use this game as a lab to prepare for the game of life.  We want to be mentors to our players, and fight to see them become men who are ‘truly successful’ on and off the field.  Men who know the love of God, and consequently are deeply in love with Him and His mission in this world.  We want all the trials of football to become captivating teachable moments where our boys learn about the gridiron of life, and how to navigate His Word in this world.  We also coach because we love to compete, we love this game, and we love to see State Championships hanging in our gym year after year.

These are the consistent LITTLE THINGS that make a BIG DIFFERENCE in us becoming a football program that wins consistently on and off the field for a long period of time.
