We are excited for our “Superheroes Field Day” on Friday, May 8^th.  It will take place from 8:30-11:00am across the street on the field behind Hendrix Elementary School.  You are invited to join us and cheer on our students during field day.  If you bring younger siblings or other kids, they will not be allowed to jump on the inflatables.  We do ask that you park in our parking lot and walk over to the Hendrix field.  Students can wear athletic shorts, as long as they meet our handbook guidelines for length (Length: 1-3 inches above the middle of the kneecap) and their field day or SCA t-shirt.  Students may want to bring a water bottle and wear sunscreen that day.  Parents may sign their child out after field day and it will not be counted as a tardy or absence.  If history repeats itself, not many students will actually remain at school following field day.  Parents must see their child’s homeroom teacher to sign them out on their clipboard to ensure we follow our schools safety protocols.  I also want to remind you to make sure that they are not signed up for school lunch (pizza) on Friday, if they are going home.

If your child plans to stay, then we will be serving school lunch (pizza) and they will need to be signed up or bring bag lunch.
