Spartanburg Christian Academy is the largest ministry of First Baptist North Spartanburg with an average student population of over 630 students and 90+ faculty and staff.  SCA is a Kingdom Education school with a vision to share the good news of Jesus in a college preparatory environment.  Spartanburg Christian Academy is accredited by COGNIA and SCISA and has graduated nearly 600 students since 2005.  SCA boasts a 100 percent graduation rate and graduates have attended 40+ colleges and universities across the United States.  Its family atmosphere, Biblical worldview perspective, thriving fine arts program and state championship athletics, along with a second to none academically challenging environment make SCA a leading educational hub in the Upstate of South Carolina.

Spartanburg Christian Academy is currently in search of a Preschool Principal.

Job Description:

Oversee all issues pertaining to 3k-4k preschool students and teachers (see below).

This position is a direct report to the SCA Headmaster.

  • Classroom observations/Instructional support
  • Student discipline/Classroom management
  • Other duties as assigned by Headmaster

  • 5+ years teaching experience preferred
  • Administrative experience in a school setting preferred

Specifically with regards to athletics, SCA seeks to use sports to grow our students spiritually. As we partner with Christian families, competition on the athletic field, court, pitch or track students are guided to become well-grounded believers ready to engage culture and make an impact. SCA athletics is committed to developing student-athletes who were created in God’s image and equipped to glorify Him through excellence, sportsmanship, and Christ-centered leadership while preparing to compete at the next level.
